Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support the company's financial planning.
  • Manage and oversee the accuracy of financial records and reconciliations.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure financial data aligns with operational goals.
  • Support the year-end audit process by preparing relevant documentation.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • Proven experience in management accounting, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
