Guildford Permanent £50,000 - £55,000 per year View Job Description
The purpose of the Management Accountant is to have sole responsibility for managing the day-to-day purchase ledger and assist in the preparation of month-end analysis alongside other key tasks as required. Working within a small finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

Job Description

· Accruals/prepayment schedules

· Maintaining fixed asset schedules

· Bank reconciliations

· Management and analysis of overheads

· Monthly sales reports for global commercial team

· Monthly product reports for product managers

· Quarterly carbon reporting for group

· Management of key suppliers

· Assist in maintaining correct VAT treatment

· Oversee the running/management of the AP ledgers

· Other key tasks as required to support the finance department

The Successful Applicant

· High attention to detail

· Ability to communicate upwards and at all levels

· Confident and professional manner

· Ability to work as part of team

· Newly qualified/Finalist ACCA/CIMA (accountancy qualification)

· Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload

· Proficient in Excel and Microsoft programs
