Job Description

  • Provide advice and support on HR policies and procedures to management and staff.
  • Assist in managing employee relations, including grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices within the healthcare industry.
  • Support recruitment processes, including preparing job descriptions and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and systems for the department.
  • Contribute to training and development initiatives to upskill employees.
  • Advise on performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Deliver guidance on absence management and employee well-being initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Previous experience in a human resources role, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • A solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A professional qualification in human resources or a related field (CIPD preferred).
