The Environment division is responsible for Waste and Recycling, Parks and Green Spaces, Cemeteries, Environmental Enforcement and Climate Change. Broxtowe’s aim is to become carbon neutral by the end of December 2027.
In August 2022, Broxtowe Borough Council were successfully awarded Disability Confident Leader status following external validation. The posts of Waste and Recycling Manager and Parks and Green Spaces Manager report to the Head of Environment. They are responsible for large teams and are important strategic leadership roles, which will be key to delivering Broxtowe’s environmental priority of protecting the environment for the future. You will join a supportive management team that covers a range of both operational and strategic roles in Waste and Recycling and Grounds Maintenance.
