Job Description

The Warehouse Shift Manager - (PM Shift) will be responsible for;

  • Manage warehouse staff, ensuring efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and optimise logistics processes
  • Maintain health and safety standards
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Implement change and manage projects to drive warehouse efficiency
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
  • Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers
  • Work Monday to Friday 12:30pm - 21:30pm

The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Shift Manager - (PM Shift) should have:

  • Degree in business, logistics, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Strong team management and organisational skills
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse software packages
  • Understanding of Lean Management principles
  • Commutable to Gloucester daily
