Job Description

  • Oversee all treasury operations including cash management, investment, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement financial risk management strategies.
  • Support ALM team with liquidity risk monitoring.
  • Identify and control credit, liquidity, market, and operational risks.
  • Monitor risk exposure, explain PnL, and escalate risk events.
  • Assist with managing and reporting on MI, KPI, EWI, KRI, RCSA, E2E mapping, budget planning, and trading procedures.
  • Suppot in adhereing to compliance of the Bank's policies in all Treasury trading activities.
  • Maintain Trader Mandate and authorisation in the Treasury system.
  • Manage counterparties, prepare risk limit applications, and assist with KYC and client onboarding.
  • Verify Treasury transactions and ensure accurate system capture.
  • Support in developing tools for forward-looking capabilities and scenario analysis.
  • Analyse Treasury's contribution to the Bank's overall financial performance.
  • Assist with New Product Approvals for system enhancements.
  • Build and optimise tools for risk control and measurement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Educated to degree level in a quantitative subject (MSc degree preferred)
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin (no visa sponsorship offered)
  • Excellent knowledge of FX, interest rates, money markets (MM), and other Treasury products
  • Strong understanding of Treasury risk management and regulatory requirements
  • Proven communication, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly VBA and spreadsheet proficiency
  • Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines, independently or in a team environment
  • Eager to collaborate with other Treasury colleagues, such as traders and sales, to maximize efficiency and profitability

What's on Offer

  • Base salary up up to £75,000
  • 25 days, increasing by 1 day after three years of continuous service, and by 1 additional day each year thereafter, up to a maximum of 30 days (e.g., 26 days in the 4th year).
