Job Description

  • Plan and optimise transport schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and manage transport operations to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers for smooth logistics processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all transport and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on transport activities.
  • Handle any transport-related issues or disruptions with effective problem-solving.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on transport performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Transport Planner should have:

  • Experience in logistics or transport planning within the Logistics industry.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills to manage schedules and data.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
  • Proficiency in transport planning software or relevant tools.
