Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day transport operations within the logistics department.
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor and manage fleet performance to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate schedules and routes to optimise delivery times.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, drivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review transport-related reports and analytics.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Support the team in resolving operational challenges promptly.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Manager should have:

  • Experience in logistics or transport management within a similar sector.
  • A solid understanding of transport regulations and compliance standards.
  • People management experience (ideally within Transport)
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using transport management systems or similar software.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teams and external partners.
