My client is well known for a friendly and sociable working environment, that focuses on providing top quality training for their employees.Job DescriptionAssist with updating the excel bank statement dailyUploading customer invoices to SageResponsible for uploading bank statement, and reconciling bank accountsMaintenance of customer ledgers in SageSetting up new accountsAccounting correctly for indemnity claimsResponsible for updating historical transactions in the weekly cashflow reportContribute to the analysis of budgets and forecasts.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed.The Successful ApplicantA successful Trainee Accountant should have:Have recently graduated from a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or relevant degree. OR have gained 6+months in an entry level/transactional finance assistant position.Excellent attention to detail and communication skillsA proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.Be ambitious, driven and motivated to learn and developAn interest in completing a professional accounting qualification.
