Job Description

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation.
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
  • Coordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems.
  • Analyse logistical problems and devise new solutions.
  • Implement health and safety procedures.
  • Manage staff training issues.
  • Motivate other members of the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traffic Planner should have:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
  • Proven experience in a similar logistics role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail.
