Job Description

  • Managing a range of disputes and arbitrations in the commodities sector
  • Providing strategic advice to clients in relation to potential and ongoing disputes
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve the best outcome for clients
  • Demonstrating knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Maintaining professionalism and client confidentiality at all times
  • Contributing to the firm's knowledge management and business development initiatives
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and market developments

The Successful Applicant

A successful Trade & Commodities Disputes Associate should have:

  • A degree in Law or a related field
  • Qualified UK solicitor with 5/6PQE +
  • A thorough understanding of commodities law
  • Strong dispute resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • High standards of professionalism and ethics
