About Our Client

The company is one of the largest and fastest growing in the Insurance sector. This role is remote with one day a week needed at either the Manchester or Stoke office.

Job Description

  • This is a hands off Manager role and you will have a team of 5 reporting to you
  • Develop and implement a QA strategy
  • Define and promote QA best practices
  • Work closely with other departments and work as a QA ambassador for the organisation
  • Automation first mindset, find the right balance between automated, exploratory, functional and non-functional testing

The Successful Applicant

Must haves:

  • 2 years+ is a Test Manager role
  • Hands on testing experience and an in depth knowledge of QA tools, frameworks etc
  • Knowledge of implementing Quality Gates and Test Governance
  • Knowledge of NFT and OAT
  • Agile

Nice to haves:

  • Finance, insurance or regulated background
  • Automation test pyramid
  • Agile test quadrants
