Job Description
- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and computations
- Supporting the management of a portfolio of clients
- Dealing professionally with HMRC and other third parties
- Preparing tax advisory letters for review
- Supporting senior staff in tax planning and projects
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures including client take-on and managing client risk
- Keeping up to date with changes in tax law and writing technical updates for internal use
- Developing strong relationships with clients and understanding their business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Semi-Senior should have:
- A degree in a relevant subject
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office
- A proactive and organised approach
- A commitment to delivering excellent client service
