Exciting 12 months maternity cover for Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist managing all fee earning and business services recruitment across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the UK hiring whilst leading on a number of exciting high impact projects across the Talent space including diverse talent pooling, system automation and building out new candidate interview process framework.

The UK Talent team is 50 strong, with 13 specifically looking at Talent Acquisition.

Job Description

  • Managing all fee earning and business services recruitment across the UK -generally around 150 hires a year
  • Management of agency relationships across the UK
  • Management of a team of two based between London and the North
  • Focus around process improvement and recruitment projects specifically looking at candidate experience and talent pipe lining
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent
  • Manage the entire recruiting process including job posting, interviewing, and on boarding
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Create a positive candidate and employee experience
  • Report on recruitment metrics and suggest improvements as needed
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to hiring practices
  • Implement new sourcing methods
  • Promote the company's reputation as a great place to work

The Successful Applicant

Must have experience

  • Sector knowledge and expertise - must have worked either within the Legal sector or similar professional services environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Have worked on projects within Talent
  • Data driven - understanding of how to use data to drive decision making and how to use data to support managers
  • Experience with direct sourcing and talent pooling
  • Excellent understanding of full-cycle recruiting
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
