Job Description

  • Qualify and approve new suppliers, conducting risk assessments and audits.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through scorecards, KPIs, and regular reviews.
  • Lead supplier audits (remote and on-site) to assess compliance with quality standards such as ISO, GMP, or relevant industry certifications.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions for non-conforming materials or components.
  • Review and approve incoming inspection plans, material specifications, and certificates of analysis (COAs).
  • Work with internal teams (Procurement, Product Development, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues in the supply chain.
  • Manage documentation related to supplier approvals, change controls, and quality agreements.
  • Support continuous improvement by developing supplier development programs and training initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have a background in:

  • Degree educated
  • Experience in supplier quality assurance or supply chain quality.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22716, GMP, FDA, or other industry-specific standards.
  • Experience in outsourced manufacturing/filler supplier management
  • Very high standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships across the company and with our supply partners with strong influencing abilities
  • A 'completer finisher' who gets the job done themselves, and with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, presentation, motivation, and interpersonal skills with a dynamic team working ethos.
  • Experience working in a fast business growth and development environment would be a strong advantage.
  • Competence in office productivity tools such as MS Office, and ERP systems.
