Job Description

Central PMO Experience

Must have worked within a central PMO function, focusing on Governance and Assurance.

Governance and Framework Implementation

Proven experience in developing, implementing, and improving project delivery and governance frameworks.

  • Budget management
  • Change prioritisation
  • Business case development
  • Benefit realisation tracking and reporting
    • Resource and Capacity Planning
    • Demonstrable experience in resource and capacity planning across projects, programmes, or portfolios.
    • Must understand how to track resource demand, manage allocation, and support effective resource decision-making at the governance level.
    • Autonomous PMO Management
    • Experience working in a small PMO team or as the sole PMO resource.
    • Must have demonstrated the ability to own, lead, and manage PMO activities independently.
    • Challenger Mindset and Standards Enforcement
    • Must have the confidence and capability to challenge existing ways of working and enforce governance standards across projects.
    • Should be comfortable promoting and driving standardised processes and best practices.
    • Team Player and Flexibility
    • Must show a willingness to work outside of strict role boundaries when required to support team delivery and organisational priorities.
    • Should have a collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude to drive outcomes as a team.

The Successful Applicant



A successful Senior PMO Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, IT or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.

The role is based inHampshire and hybrid 3 days in office, so would need to be conveniently located to office.
