It's a welcoming place where everyone can relax, unwind, and feel inspired.Job DescriptionIndependently manage allbrewhouse operations, ensuring safety, quality, and performance in wort production, including:Milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, whirlpooling, wort cooling, spent grain removal, water system management, and CIP of all brewhouse equipment.Yeast pitching for all brews.Independently handlecellaring operations, maintaining safety, quality, and performance, including:Monitoring fermentation temperatures, gravities, and cell counts.Logging and documenting CIP of vessels (FV's, MV's, BBT's, and yeast tanks).Beer filtering and transfer.Dry hopping.Yeast management, including harvesting, pitching, cell counts, and record keeping.Unloading bulk beer.Documenting cleaning and sanitation of hoses and fittings.Ensure all production logs (brew sheets, filtration, etc.) are completed according to external accreditation standards.Take personal and collective responsibility to maintain and clean all production areas to the highest hygienic standards.Ensure compliance with all relevant food acts and customer requirements for all products within the production process.Support, develop, and engage with NPD, including process or beer development.Represent the company at beer tastings, brewery tours, and trade events as needed.Perform other duties as directed by the Senior Brewer or Head BrewerEnsure all quality checks, documentation, and line checks (including CCPs) within production adhere to Renegade specifications and SOPs, meeting the satisfaction of the Lead Brewer, Head Brewer, and QA Manager.Promote a safety culture by adhering to and enforcing Health and Safety policies, challenging unsafe practices, reporting hazards and near misses, and working with relevant departments to address hazards promptly.Ensure all production areas are meticulously maintained and cleaned, completing plant safety checks as required and upholding high standards of Health and Safety at all timesThe Successful ApplicantPrior brewing experience required, preferably in a brewery producing over 10,000 hl annually.Minimum IBD General Certificate (or equivalent) required, or a willingness to pursue personal development.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with managers and teams.Proven ability to successfully manage and prioritize workload.Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.Must have or be willing to obtain a counterbalance Fork Lift Truck license upon starting.Proactive and flexible, with the ability to prioritize tasks to achieve desired outcomes.Preferable to have knowledge or awareness of HACCP.Must be willing to work unsocial hours, including early/late shifts and occasional weekends as needed.Must have the right to work in the UK.What's on OfferSalary £28,000-30,000Continued learning and development!Pension Company MatchCycle to Work SchemeDiscounted Beers/ Allowance50% Off FoodLife Insurance 3x SalaryContactSally Ristine-BarrattQuote job refJN-072024-6470214Phone number+44 207 269 2108Job summaryJob functionEngineering & ManufacturingSubsectorProduction, ManufacturingSectorFMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)LocationBerkshireContract typePermanentConsultant nameSally Ristine-BarrattConsultant phone+44 207 269 2108Job referenceJN-072024-6470214
