Job Description

  • Lead the design process for womenswear products
  • Partake in inspirational shopping trips around the UK and Europe
  • Collaborate with the retail team to ensure product designs align with brand image and customer expectations
  • Directly manage a team of junior designers, providing guidance and feedback
  • Regularly conduct market research to stay current with fashion trends
  • Present design concepts and final products to senior management
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility
  • Oversee the creation of tech packs and design specifications
  • Ensure the successful execution of designs from concept to production

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Womenswear Designer' should have:

  • Experience designing womenswear jersey multi-product
  • Proven experience in a womenswear design role, and must have experience working within a fashion supplier
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Excellent knowledge of fashion trends and design principles
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
  • A creative mindset and a strong attention to detail
