Job Description

The Senior Treasury Manager will lead a small, specialized team with a strategic regional focus. This role involves taking ownership of the company's banking relationships, financial forecasts, and treasury processes. The Senior Treasury Manager will work closely with global, regional, and local financial management teams, as well as various third-party service providers. This position is crucial to the ongoing development of the treasury and tax functions, requiring a professional who can bring expertise in process design and improvement, leveraging financial data to drive commercial success.

  • Lead and supervise the treasury function, overseeing regional cash projections to manage cash balances and funding levels across all EMEA subsidiaries.
  • Ensure compliance with financing agreements and covenants, working in close collaboration with the Global Treasury team.
  • Provide oversight of operational treasury activities, including currency risk management, bank account and cash management, and working capital management.
  • Develop and implement regional treasury projects to manage financial risk, improve cash flow efficiency, and optimise working capital.
  • Collaborate with teams across global, regional, and local levels, including finance, accounting, tax, and legal departments, to ensure effective treasury operations.
  • Ensure that strong internal controls are in place for treasury management and income tax accounting.
  • Oversee governance approval and auditing of user access to IT systems to ensure compliance and internal control.
  • Act as a liaison with IT staff on technical matters related to tax and treasury applications.
  • Coordinate and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities, ensuring timely and appropriate action.
  • Assist with month-end close and reporting, along with other essential functions as required.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; an MBA, CFA, or relevant treasury/accounting qualifications are highly preferred.
  • Experience in external audit and advisory roles, ideally with regional and/or international exposure.
  • Extensive expertise in cash management, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong banking relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Strong analytical and digital skills, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated hands-on approach with a history of success in team-based environments.
  • Leadership abilities with a track record of guiding and mentoring teams across various locations.
