The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics solutions design processes, optimisation and innovation, with a focus on ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Work as part of a team focusing on the design and implementation of complex warehousing solutions solutions.
  • Provide technical support to the Business development team in customer meetings
  • Work closely with the business development and account development teams to create bespoke tender responses.
  • Oversee solution design projects to sometime tight timelines, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Provide support to the Operational teams to assist innovation and efficiency that ensures alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements in the supply chain process.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, innovations and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Solutions Design Manager' should have:

  • A strong educational background in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar solutions design role within the transport and distribution industry.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data (Exel, Access or similar)
  • expertise in Warehouse modelling and layout tools is highly advantageous (AutoCad, Sketchup, CLASS or similar).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of different quality compliance requirements for various sectors (Food, Bond, Pharma, healthcare, high value etc.)
