Job Description

  • Provide expert legal advice on a range of issues including corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify potential legal risks and devise strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Work closely with different departments to ensure legal compliance across the company.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes that may affect the company.
  • Conduct legal training sessions for staff members as required.
  • Assist in the formulation of corporate policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Risk Lawyer should have:

  • A degree in Law and admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience as a Lawyer in a corporate environment or law firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to deal with complex legal issues.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • A detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
