Our client's retail offering comprises over 70 bars, cafes and restaurants and over 200 shops, including grocery stores, pharmacies and health clubs all within 15 minutes' walk.Job DescriptionInternal Control Framework Design & ImplementationMonitoring and Continuous ImprovementAudit Liaison and CoordinationRegulatory Compliance & Risk ManagementTeam Leadership and Stakeholder EngagementThe Successful ApplicantTechnical SkillsExpertise in designing and implementing internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO or Sox).Experience with internal audit processes, risk assessments, and financial controls.Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) systems and tools.Experience of using technology solutions to enhance the control environment is critical. Yardi experience would be an advantage but not essential.Strong understanding of UK regulations, with experience of those regulations applicable to real estate and development businesses an advantage but not essential.Knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP financial reporting standards.Qualifications and ExperienceACAStrong exposure to internal controls (post qualification), audit, or risk management.
