With UK operations based in Harlow and Castleford, this company has an excellent legal team that supports its operations worldwide.Job DescriptionThe role of Senior Legal Counsel will include the following responsibilities:You will be acting as a legal lead on areas of responsibility and legal partner to the commercial business providing legal input into strategy, risk assessment and commercialisation to support the organisation's Pivot to Growth Strategy.You will be partnering with the Business Innovation team to successfully launch, bring to market & commercialise innovative products and biosimilars.You will support the Commercial business, Business development and Sales teams by driving complex negotiation & contracting across the supply chain and customers. Leading negotiations and drafting extensive legal agreements for collaboration to launch smart digital medicine and devices.You will be partnering with the business the deliver on the growth strategy for established brands. Working closely with the business to build robust relationships with business partners and customers.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:A qualified solicitor in the UK / Similar jurisdiction.Preferred post-qualification experience of at least 5-7 years although candidates outside of this bracket will be consideredExperience within the pharmaceutical or health sector and in particular new product launches would be highly beneficial.Experience of operating in an in-house legal function with proven commercial acumen and business partnering experience would be an advantage.What's on OfferA competitive base salary and benefits package that includes a company car allowance and bonus.The flexibility of working 1-2 days in the office in either Harlow OR Castleford.Being part of a large, global company in the Life Science industry.A supportive work environment that encourages professional growth.We encourage all qualified candidates to apply for this exciting opportunity.
