The organisation is headquartered in Birmingham and employs several thousand individuals across multiple departments.Job DescriptionOffer financial guidance and support to facilitate key business decisions with senior executives.Oversee financial projects, ensuring cost control and budget management in line with GovS 006.Lead financial reporting and analysis, providing accurate and timely financial information.Manage stakeholder relationships with differentiating priorities.Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.Interpret and report insights from management reports to facilitate the decision-making process by senior business leaders.Participate in the development of strategic business plans.Oversee the month end process, analytics, variance analysis and provide assurance for reporting packs.Review and challenge funding requests in line with HM Treasury's Managing Public Money.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Finance Business Partner should have:Accounting Qualification.Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.Experience with infrastructure/property projects.Knowledge of Public Sector spending (DEL/AME funding).Proficiency in major accounting software and databases.Excellent organisational and leadership skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.What's on OfferCompetitive annual salary of approximately £54,500 to £68,150.Generous 12% pension contribution.20% flex fund as a cash allowance in lieu of benefits.Hybrid working.25 days annual leave.Access to financial and health well-being programmes.Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious organisation in the property industry based in Birmingham.
