Job Description
- Manage a team of factory supervisors.
- Oversee daily operations of the retail factory.
- Ensure quality control processes are implemented and maintained.
- Develop strategies to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Lead and motivate a team to meet production goals.
- Coordinate with other departments to align with the company's business objectives.
- Implement safety and health measures in the factory.
- Manage budgets and production costs.
- Report on factory performance and metrics.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Factory Manager should have:
- Experience in a leadership role within the retail industry.
- Ideally experience working within footwear, if not has experience in:
Clothing, costume jewellery, hats, soft furnishings, furniture manufacturing - Proficiency in managing production costs and budgets.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A commitment to safety and quality control.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and motivate staff.
