Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals in the planning and execution of development and regeneration projects.
  • Develop strategic plans and policies in line with the council's vision.
  • Engage with stakeholders and build relationships with community groups and other public sector organisations.
  • Oversee project budgets and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to senior leadership.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Champion sustainable development practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Development and Regeneration Manager should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Urban Planning, Property Development or Business Management.
  • Proven experience in leading development and regeneration projects.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of sustainable development practices in the public sector.
