Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reports.
  • Coordinate and oversee the month end close process. Reporting and sharing with key stakeholders and explaining variances in a clear format through budget review meetings.
  • Complete a monthly forecast, whilst challenging all stakeholders on cost efficiencies where appropriate and additional flex reporting to all Service Centres.
  • Track, record and forecast capex spend, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are aligned on capex spend.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to staff, including three direct reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the managerial level.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should have:

  • Professional certification (completed) ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • High-level proficiency in accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
