They are looking for an interim to join them to support on a global project for the next 16 months.Job DescriptionProcures goods and services and executes buying strategies in accordance with agreed upon goods and services plans at the optimum cost, quality and delivery. Conducts complex analysis of sourcing information and presents findings to procurement and supply chain leadership for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining high quality product and service delivery.Procurement of services, inventory items, supplies, and capital goods.Manages regional commodities aligned to global category structure.Prepares and presents recommendations of improvement opportunities and alternative courses of action to senior buying/sourcing leadership.Evaluates consistent application of buying/sourcing procedures and processes.Supports buying/sourcing management in activities such as price bench marking, vendor management, industry and market analysis, process analysis, and model building.Leads analysis projects/initiatives providing coaching to less experienced team members.Negotiates within the pre-approved alternative language framework.Develop effective relationships with suppliers aligned to Category Partner Lists.Facilitates Purchase Requisition approvals.Executes Tactical Sourcing, RapidSources and eBids within a country or countries within the region.Experience of working with multiple time zones.
