Revenue Accountant - EMEAI

· Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Revenue Reconciliation, preparing supporting schedules.

· May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy.

· Reviews customer gross to net revenue and profitability calculations identifying, investigating and explaining variances to forecast, prior quarter and at region/product segment level.

· Prepares monthly reports of revenues for presentation on the EMEAI revenue close call.

· Responsible for following up rebate/debit program queries noted during month-end close to ensure underlying root cause is identified and addressed.

· Supporting the Accounting Controllers with GL revenue extracts and analysis to enable completion of audits of EMEA entities.

· Complete the GL Account reconciliations in USD/local currencies (where necessary) and complete IPE checklists.

· Review and approve Marketing Development Fund ("MDF") requests.

· Manage the Pricing and Sales confirmation process for the EMEAI region to ensure completeness and accuracy of contra revenue accruals.

· May generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use. May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.

· May support the quarterly sales quota setting and attainment calculation process.
