Job Description

Searching for a financial services Regulatory Lawyer to join their team, you will be acting as sole Regulatory advisor from the legal front, so you will need to be comfortable advising and training senior internal and external stakeholders, providing a deep knowledge base with the ability to influence.
Your day-to-day will include:

  • Advising on all manner of regulatory issues that impact the organisation including regulatory change, conduct of business, and prudential regulatory issues.
  • Leading communications with the regulators and relevant external industry bodies. Contribute to shaping business strategy through considering the impact of regulatory change.
  • Identifying gaps in knowledge and delivering training for legal and business colleagues in those areas.
  • Acting as key point of contact for business stakeholders and external counsel.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a Senior Regulatory Lawyer (appx. 7+ PQE) with deep expertise in the area having specialised throughout their legal career including:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Regulatory specialism in financial services in either in-house or private practice
  • Experience advising internal or external stakeholders as main point of contact
  • Ability to commute into London 2 - 3 days per week
