The Receptionist is responsible for providing front-of-house support, coordinating in-house events, managing deliveries and mail, and supporting general administrative and facilities tasks. Job Description

  • Reception duties: visitor booking into the 8BG portal, meeting room management, answering phones and greeting guests, ensure rooms are cleared after meetings and manage comfort levels of the rooms
  • Coordinate with Roadshow team on in-house events: Access Days, group lunches
  • Receiving deliveries - (water, soft drinks, cereal) from loading bay
  • Distributing and collecting mail, franking post, booking couriers/DHL, loading bay booking for deliveries and raising permits
  • General administration/facilities assistance
  • Support with ordering of supplies and consumables for the office
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 2 years in a reception/office role, within financial services would be a bonus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Practical approach to problem solving
  • Sound technical skills
  • Good Interpersonal / communication skills
  • Cost awareness
  • Good team player
  • Required to comply with company procedures and policies
