Job Description

  • Manage the purchase ledger process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Prepare and process payment runs in compliance with company standards.
  • Support month-end accounting activities, including ledger reviews and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries and maintain strong relationships.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchase Ledger professional should have:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with international stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of financial processes within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry is a plus.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
