Job Description

  • Coordinate resources in a matrix management structure, revising contingency plans should any issues arise.
  • Embark on cross-functional team communication to ensure on time project delivery.
  • Take responsibility for operational delivery and project budget.
  • Manage, motivate and support project team to ensure maximum efficiency and increase team commitment.
  • Act as key liaison for internal stakeholders across regions, and ensure effective contract performance and best practice.
  • Ensuring health & safety measures are followed at all times during processes.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Champion contract development activities in securing and up selling business opportunities within projects where profitable growth is available.
  • Creation of financial performance reports alongside relevant actions plans and presentations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:Essential

  • Direct experience in project management and launch management.
  • Previous automotive/Line feed experience.
  • Experience in use of project management tools.
  • Proven track record of relationship building
  • Proven experience of managing cross functional teams in a matrix organisation
  • Experience in scoping customer requirements and delivering objectives.
  • Previous experience in cost controlling and budget management.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Good prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in delivering detailed presentations.
  • IT literate - able to analyse data and produce quality reports as a result.

Nice To Have

  • Educated to degree standard.
  • Formal training qualification in project management.
  • Understanding of general HR processes (people management).
  • Proven track record of providing solutions to win new customers and new business.
