Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day repairs and maintenance operations within social housing properties.
  • Manage voids, ensuring quick turnaround times to bring properties back into use.
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and ensure targets are met for repairs and maintenance.
  • Work closely with housing officers and tenants to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in production management within the social housing sector.
  • Strong background in repairs, maintenance, and void management.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and staff performance.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to property maintenance.
