Job Description

As a Procurement Category Specialist - Procurement Officer you will be;

  • Working within a diverse and supportive team, you will have existing procurement experience and strong proven administrative and communication skills to deliver this dynamic role.
  • You will provide procurement support to strategic activities as well as co-ordinate and support the implementation of new procurement legislation
  • Develop and manage appropriate procurement requests, collate information, conduct research, analyse data and prepare reports
  • Work with a wide range of stakeholders in a changing complex, rewarding environment
  • Manage and oversee all procurement and supply chain activities.
  • Develop strategic procurement plans and policies.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyse procurement trends and market conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify procurement needs.
  • Conduct risk assessments on potential contracts and suppliers.
