Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality of products and timely delivery
  • Oversee the procurement team and provide them with guidance and support
  • Monitor market trends and perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement and supply chain performance
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of procurement processes with company goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations
  • Evaluate and manage the procurement budget and work to improve spending

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Lead should have:

  • 8+yrs experience in technology/IT/software category management
  • 12+yrs experience working across indirect procurement
  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement or similar roles within the Financial Services industry
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions
