The team provides advice on and acts in the following specialist areas:nationally significant infrastructure projects promoted under the Planning Act 2008urban regeneration projectscompulsory purchase orders for regeneration and infrastructure projectscompulsory purchase compensation claims, including in the Lands Chamber and resolution by ADRadvice on Environmental Impact Assessment issuesnegotiation of planning and highways agreementsplanning appealsstrategy and conduct of judicial reviews at High Court and Appeal Court proceedingsplanning due diligence on corporate and real estate acquisitions and disposals, working closely with corporate and real estate colleaguesplanning enforcementparliamentary advice including hybrid bills, Transport and Works Act orders and harbour orderstown and village greenslisted building and conservation area issueshighway issuesThe work is extremely varied ranging from quick advice on straightforward planning issues to advising on high-profile and contentious compulsory purchase orders, regeneration and infrastructure projects, negotiation of complex development agreements, attending planning inquiries and assisting on huge corporate projects.The Successful ApplicantA successful Planning NQ - 2 Solicitor should have completed a seat in planning.
