Job Description
- Manage day-to-day operations of the construction department
- Develop and implement strategic plans for operational activity
- Oversee project management to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee resource allocation and budgeting
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Report operational performance to the senior management team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Operation Manager should have:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related construction field
- Proven experience in managing operations within the contracting world
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Adeptness in strategic planning and budgeting
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
