You will manage diverse team comprising service managers, in-field engineers, call centre staff, and warehouse personnel, ensuring seamless coordination across departments. Your responsibilities will include enhancing service delivery with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, implementing efficient inventory and logistics strategies, and maintaining robust health and safety practices. You will also drive successful project installations by coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered on budget and to specification. A key part of this role involves inspiring cross-functional teams, mentoring managers, and cultivating a high-performance culture rooted in responsibility, agility, and continuous improvement.You will work closely with the CEO to set and manage operational budgets, track key performance indicators, and implement cost-effective strategies that do not compromise quality or service. Compliance and regulatory standards will be upheld through consistent reporting, audits, and risk assessments. As a forward-thinking leader, you will proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimisation, using data-driven insights to implement lasting change. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a hands-on approach, capable of driving performance, transformation, and long-term success across all operational areas.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will have progressive experience in operations management at Director level, with a strong track record across service delivery, warehouse, logistics, health and safety, and project installations. You will have proven leadership experience in a similar industry, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, strong project management capabilities, and experience in driving operational change and continuous improvement are essential. You should also have a solid financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational KPIs.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are key, as you'll be expected to build strong relationships across all levels of the business. You'll need to be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
