Job Description

  • Oversee the smooth running of the office, ensuring all admin tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Manage incoming correspondence (emails, calls, letters) and ensure timely responses.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks and projects.
  • Line manage designated staff, supporting performance and development.
  • Manage procurement enquiries, supplier relationships, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor budgets, producing accurate forecasts and reports in line with financial procedures.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and expenses, resolving finance-related queries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Office Manager should have:

  • Previous experience in an office management or similar secretarial and business support role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of DELTA/Agresso is beneficial
  • Proficiency in using common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with public sector environments and procedures (desirable).
