Established over 170yrs ago, this organisation supplies to both retailers and fast-food businesses throughout the UK.Job DescriptionThe NPD Manager will report into the Commercial Director and will:Drive product innovation and developmentManage the full NPD / EPD gate process ensuring all stakeholders are kept up to date and all customer dates are achievedPresent all gate 1 briefs to the Senior Management teamHACCP Approval - across all current and new ingredientsMicro and Organoleptic testingManage all relevant paperwork including specificationsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholdersEnsure all products meet the company's high quality standardsConduct market research to inform product development strategiesRegularly review and improve product development processesReport on product development activities and project progressThe Successful ApplicantThe successful NPD Manager should have will possess a range of the following:Experience with NPD Management roleExperience working within Food Manufacturing Facility- ideally bakery sectorExcellent organisational, project management and time management skillsClear and professional presentation skills and Excellent attention to detailCommercial experience of retail and consumer, customer and industry awarenessSAP literate (advantageous)Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work with suppliers and stakeholdersAn analytical mindset, with the ability to conduct market research and inform development strategiesPride, passion and commitmentWhat's on OfferA salary c. £45,000- £55,000 per year.A rewarding role in a leading company within the FMCG industry near BlackburnA supportive company culture that values its employeesDetails of benefits will be provided upon successful applicationJoin our team and contribute to our continued success in the FMCG industry.
