Job Description

  • Own the day-to-day NAV stock operations, ensuring stock is accurate and production flows smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve NAV issues down to the transactional level.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Jet Reports and other tools to ensure system accuracy and data-driven decision making.
  • Work hands-on across production, warehouse, and finance to ensure timely processing of stock movements, inventory adjustments, and shipments.
  • Perform cycle counts, internal audits, and root-cause analysis to identify and eliminate process issues.
  • Collaborate with external NAV consultants and internal stakeholders on system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through process improvements backed by real-time data and insights.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Nav Systems and Stock Controller should have:

  • Deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ideally NAV 2018) in a tech/manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of the Simulated to Finished Production Order cycle and related processes.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Jet Reports or similar reporting tools.
  • Experience with inventory control, production admin, sales order processing, and warehouse shipments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - you see patterns, ask questions, and dig until it's fixed.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and stock valuation.
  • Comfortable managing system issue logs, prioritizing fixes, and liaising with external NAV experts.



Desirable experience would also include:

  • Knowledge of SQL and designing simple queries or database views.
  • Experience in internal audits or process verification environments.
  • A passion for improving systems and driving operational efficiency through tech.
