Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsWorking for a well known packaging manufacturing brandExcellent opportunity to join a business with huge growth plansAbout Our ClientThis leading organisation in the UK's corrugated packaging and display sector collaborates with top brands, employs advanced technologies, and utilises smart materials to produce high-performance, high-definition corrugated products that consistently exceed industry standards in every measurable aspect.Job DescriptionAs an Multi Skilled Engineer you will be responsible for providing engineering, breakdown repairs, maintenance, and services support to all areas of the Darlington site.Apply best practice operation at all times maintaining high levels of health & safety, hygiene and quality standards.Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant and services as requested.Assist in the running of our "Agility" system, carrying out TPMs and ensuring documentation is completed.Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.Monitor stores stock and usage.Other reasonable duties in line with business needs as defined by the Engineering Manager or their superior.The Successful ApplicantHave experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.Proven electrical/electronic and mechanical skills with knowledge of PLC's and Drives.ONC/HNC in Engineering and/or a recognised Engineering ApprenticeshipHolds 17/18th Edition CertificateUnderstand and be able to read electrical/mechanical schematic drawings.Be experienced in the use of PPM systemsWork on their own initiative.Work towards improved efficiency in the maintenance department.Be an effective team player and possess excellent communication skills.Experience of working in the corrugated packaging industry would be advantageousWhat's on OfferSalary of £45,763Working a shift pattern on the 3-shift rota, 6.00-2.00, 2.00-10.00 and 10.00-6.00.
