Job Description

  • Supervise and lead the quantity surveying team.
  • Perform cost management and financial reporting tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage contracts and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
  • Participate in the preparation of budgets and cost plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments for successful project delivery.
  • Provide advice on project viability and profitability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Managing Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • An education background in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a senior surveying role within the property industry.
  • Knowledge of cost management and financial reporting.
  • Competence in contract management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
