Job Description

  • Managing the preparation and delivery of management accounts
  • Guiding the decision-making process through financial analysis and insights particularly during the forecasting process
  • Streamlining accounting procedures and operations through process improvement and automation
  • Developing effective financial strategies in line with company objectives.
  • Mentoring and supervising junior team members - one direct report currently
  • Maintaining positive relations with stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA or CIMA
  • Ideally experience in a service based industry (but not essential)
  • Experience in producing full set of management accounts and understanding of forecasting
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
