Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
  • Support the preparation of financial forecasts and assist in long-term planning.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure they are kept up to date

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in management accounting within a business services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to present financial data clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and regulations.
