Job Description

  • Preparation and presentation of financial reports
  • Detailed financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory accounting standards
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors
  • Implementing cost reduction measures
  • Participating in financial projects as required
  • Providing support to other departments in the organisation with financial queries

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Relevant accounting qualification
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in financial software systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience within manufacturing
  • Costing experience
  • People management experience would be desirable
