Job Description

The Maintenance Manager will lead of team of c. 15 engineers and technicians and will report directly into the Site Engineering Manager. They will:

  • Oversee and manage all maintenance operations in the plant
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve plant efficiency and reliability
  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimise downtime
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs
  • Engage in and drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance

The Successful Applicant

The successful Maintenance Manager will possess a range of the following:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and maintenance best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in using maintenance software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Drive and self motivation
  • Strong CI/lean toolkit
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field (advantageous)
