Job Description

  • Ensuring the efficient operation of production machinery and minimising downtime.
  • Conducting regular maintenance checks and performing necessary repairs.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations within the engineering department.
  • Collaborating with the manufacturing team to streamline production processes.
  • Assisting in the development of new machinery and equipment.
  • Providing technical support and training to other members of staff.
  • Contributing to sustainability efforts by maintaining energy-efficient operations.
  • Participating in improvement initiatives within the engineering department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • An qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent technical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance work.
