Job Description

  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential faults and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Prepare regular maintenance reports and updates for management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • A relevant qualification in Engineering or a related field
  • 18th Edition wiring regulations
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A commitment to health and safety regulations.
  • Strong team-working skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
